Crushing on Aurifil
Aurifil entered my life a little earlier this year, around the time of the last Peaks, in late April. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to try out the different weights and sample the beautiful colours. I must say that I’m crushing on this thread and hard! Not so surprising as it is an absolute dream to piece and quilt with. My Bernina loves it, my APQS Millenium longarm loves it, and I am totally in love with the final product.
I know it’s tough to judge colours on a computer screen and it’s not always easy to pop down to the shop to compare threads to fabrics so I’ve decided to help everyone out. For the next 10 days, until 15 September, if you order 4 large spools of Aurifil, or make an order of chf 40 or more including at least 1 Aurifil item, I’ll send you a cotton colour card completely FREE. Relax in the comfort of your own sewing niche, in your pyjamas if you like, and use the card to make choosing just the right colour out of 252 gorgeous cottons a whole lot easier.
At the moment, I have a good many colours of cotton in stock, in the 50 wt, with some of the basics in cones. I’m still expanding my inventory so some items will ship in 10 days. Aurifil also does amazing wool and polyester threads, along with having super designers choose their favourite colours to create collections of 12 spools. Don’t thank me yet – they aren’t free! LOL I was running a special offer until 15 September and throwing in a thread card as a bonus for ordering at least 40 Swiss francs and including at least one spool of Aurifil. You definitely should get one though!
