Q: What size is the thread? What type?
A: Aurifil thread in the club comes in 5 weights: 80wt, 50wt, 40wt, 28wt, 12wt, and Aurifloss. While the 80wt is 300yds and the Aurifloss is 18yds, the length of the others depends on the weight you choose.
Q: Do I have to pay right away?
A: Yes, you will pay up front for your first shipment, and on the 1st day of each month following, unless you cancel your membership.
Q: Do I get a FREE Aurifil Colour card with any club plan?
A: Yes! I will send you one paper Aurifil Colour card to track your collection easily and fill in missing colours. Please note, I will only send one card per customer. If you cancel your subscription and re-subscribe, you will not be sent a new card.
Q: When will my thread be sent out?
A: Threads are sent out during the first week of each month. If you join mid-month, I’ll get them out asap.
Q: Can I cancel at any time?
A: Yes. You can cancel your current club within your membership area. It’s very easy to do. Simply log into your account and click Manage Subscriptions.
Q: Will I get duplicate colours each month?
A: No. You will receive a new colours each month so you can eventually have all the Aurifil colours on hand.
Q: If I don’t like my thread, can I return it?
A: Yes. I want you to be happy with the thread you get and will offer another in exchange. The thread must not be unwrapped and in sellable condition, and you must pay return shipping back to me, or bring it to guild to exchange. Email me to coordinate (elita dot busyneedle dot net).
Q: I don’t like surprises. Can I choose which thread is sent?
A: Unfortunately, no. Part of the fun of a thread club is the element of surprise on what we pick and what will be sent. If surprises aren’t for you, you can browse the full catalog of Aurifil threads, and order your favourites!
Q: Can I choose preferred tones of colour?
A: Yes. Upon signup, you can indicate your preferences and even mix and match!
Q: How much is shipping?
A: In the US, shipping is $5.50 for just the subscription threads, $9:50 if you order a thread case. US orders over $80 have free shipping. International charges will be a flat rate of $12.00.
Q: I’m local. Can you waive the shipping charge so I can pick up at a guild meeting?
A: Yes! Choose PICKUP at checkout.
