This huge beauty came from a friend of mine. She decided that she wanted it bigger than she’d originally finished it so I had to remove the outer border, create the blue & white checkerboard, then add another pink inner border before put the outer border back on. There is a fair amount of custom stitching to create areas of texture within the open spaces. I think she loved the overall effect.
