Breakfast of Champions

Day Three dawns at Peaks and we’re in the groove early. Everyone grabs breakfast quickly to carry on with their mystery projects before the new workshops start. Bigger quilts are starting to take shape.

The ladies split into two groups as the workshops began. In the downstairs lounge, using woven laminated fabrics, Gina guided the ladies through the steps of making the tote bag.

Lunch was a relatively quick & tasty affair of soup and salad. The afternoon brought massages and more progress.

Dinner was a lovely duck dish followed by a molten chocolate lava cake. Ummmm.

Fully relaxed with nice food & wine, we went downstairs again, this time for the Fat Quarter Dice Swap. Everyone starts with three fat quarters and as the game progresses, the fat quarters are passed backwards, forwards, & into the middle. Once someone doesn’t have any fat quarters, they get to choose one from the centre. This goes on until everyone has three fat quarters again. Fun, fun, fun!
