It seems like I got nothing done from FAL Q1. Well, I did, just not what I expected to. So most of the items have moved to the FAL 2014 Q2 Lineup.

N° 1 – Japanese Bag – Revisited
This was on the Q1 list and admittedly, it looks done….

but in reality, it’s not. I did put it together as best as I could figure out with my non-existent Japanese reading skills. Then I used it. Not so happy with the final product. I know I did a bit of winging it when it came to the instructions as I wanted more than just a little pouch. As a little purse, it needs some reinforcement & a larger strap. So unsewing commenced and it’s at this stage now:

I’m thinking the new design features will help make it more durable.
N° 2 – Peaks 5 Mystery Quilt
This MUST be done soon but as it’s NOT done as of this writing, I’m putting it on the list. At least I know it will GET done! 🙂 As it is a Mystery Quilt project, I can only show you the fabrics & the starts.

More pictures & info to come in two weeks!
N°3 – The Blue Quilt
This beautiful top was made for me by my sweet friends while I was in hospital late last summer. Quilting ideas have been percolating but others have been put ahead. I’m hoping to make a decision on my designs & get it on the longarm before summer as I’d like to use it! 🙂
N°4 – Peaks 4 Quilt – Texas Teardrops
I didn’t get anything done on this one. Too busy with the Peaks 5 quilt, which has priority since it’s a mystery and has to be done ahead of going to the Peaks retreat! 😉 Blocks need finishing with fusing and/or stitching, to be sewn together & quilted on the longarm.
I’ll need to work these around my client quilts. Oh, and my daughter will be starting uni in September so there’s a Uni Quilt to be sorted. Somewhere in there I need to go to my “Other Job”. Now it’s time for me to go see everyone else’s project list. Because I don’t have enough to do. 😉
Happy Quilting!
