I am purposefully leaving Guilt at the door this year.  There’s a lot going on for most people and I am no different but I’m not going to spend any time with Guilt about what I haven’t gotten to. Since I won’t be entertaining Guilt, I will have more time to quilt. Sounds like a win-win to me. 🙂 To help me keep on track, with purpose, I’m joining up with the Finish Along (FAL) 2014 being hosted by the ever bubbly Katy of The Littlest Thistle.  I first met Katy at the Fat Quarterly Retreat last summer, though only briefly in passing. I got to know her better when she came as my guest for Patchwork in the Peaks in October. She’s a powerhouse of energy and I’m sure that will add heaps to our enthusiasm here. So on with my list:
Japanese bag
This will be a nice new little bag for me made from a lovely kit brought back from Japan by my sweet friend JJ. Nearly there so shouldn’t take long.
All Framed Up in Pink
A baby quilt top that needs to get quilted before Baby can walk. 🙂 Original post here.
The Blue Quilt
This beautiful top was made for me by my sweet friends while I was in hospital late last summer. Â Quilting ideas have been percolating so I think I’m ready to put it on the longarm.
Peaks 4 Quilt – Texas Teardrops
I had thought I’d get this finished to show at Peaks 4, since that was the theme design but it didn’t get there. I have cut the pieces, fused some, and appliquéd some. Blocks need finishing with fusing and/or stitching, to be sewn together & quilted on the longarm.
These plus some client quilts will keep me plenty busy. Somewhere in there I need to go to my day job. I hope you’ll join me in the Finish Along 2014. There are some great prizes to be won from super sponsors and you get to see what everyone else is working on. Great inspiration out there!
Happy quilting!
They all look like beautiful projects but I especially love the tear drop one, it looks gorgeous. Thanks for taking the time to come and look at my blog and comment, and enjoy your no guilt!
Wow! These are all such amazing projects. I can’t decide which one is my favorite. I agree that there should be no quilt guilt this year. Hope you have a productive year!
lots of lovely projects! i really like that baby quilt.
Good luck finishing those projects. They’re all beautiful. Hope I can keep up with mine this year too!
No guilt more quilt – I like it!
Can’t wait to see your finishes, sweetie 🙂

Definitely sounds like a plan with the guilt! Love the look of that Japanese bag, so pretty 🙂
Good luck with the list!
Beautiful projects! And that’s quite the list. It is always hard to squeeze in your own quilt when you have others to work on. You are one productive girl! All this and a day job!
You’re no slacker when it comes to energy either, I’d certainly put you in the “powerhouse” category! Good luck with your finishes, they’re all lovely, Elita!
